State governments have signed a memorandum of understanding to introduce mandatory energy rating disclosure for all housing and commercial properties that are sold or re-leased. In the meantime, the interest in energy ratings is gaining momentum and local and state governments as well as the consumers are actively seeking information on how best to reduce the energy costs.
